Since dominating the South African music charts for over a decade with his hit singles, Jimmy Nevis has become a much-loved household name in his native country. Born and raised in the suburb of Athlone in Cape Town, he has since solidified his status with a string of other country-wide No.1 singles such as Heartboxing, 7764, Elephant Shoes ,FBA, Balloon , Hey Jimmy, Ayo and more. He's been nominated for many awards, including Best Pop & Best Producer at the 2023 South African Music Awards. Outside of his music, Jimmy has given back to his community through his foundation and has also been involved in many workshops and motivational programs. In 2024, outside of his new music and songwriting for other musicians, Nevis has joined a production team as an executive producer and music director for a documentary about the iconic Luxurama Theater in Wynberg.  This is just one of many projects he has in the pipeline.
